This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating Jersey Shore Summer Rental (the “Service”), collects and uses information. We provide software tools to property owners; we are not a booking platform and we do not collect or process rental payments between owners and guests.
The Service is used by two kinds of people: owners, who create an account to list and manage their rentals, and guests, who send booking requests to owners through an owner’s listing page. This policy covers both.
From owners (account holders): your name, email address, phone number, password (stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider), the property and listing details you enter, your payment-instructions text, and your acceptance of our Owner Terms of Service (version and timestamp).
From guests (booking requesters): the name, email address, phone number, party size, and message you submit with a booking request, your requested dates, and your acknowledgement of our Guest Terms (version and timestamp).
Subscription billing (owners only): when an owner subscribes, payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers; we receive limited billing status and a customer identifier from Stripe.
Automatically: basic technical data such as log and device information that our hosting provider records to operate and secure the Service.
Between guests and owners. The core function of the Service is to pass a guest’s booking-request details to the property owner. When you send a request as a guest, your information is shared with that owner so they can contact you directly. Owners are independent operators responsible for their own handling of guest information.
With service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the Service:

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.
We do not collect, hold, or process rental payments between guests and owners — those are arranged directly between them. The only payments we handle are owner subscription fees, processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own privacy terms.
We keep account and booking information for as long as an account is active and as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations (including records of Terms acceptance). Owners may request deletion of their account as described below.
Owners can view and update their account details within the Service, and may request account deletion. Guests who have sent a request and wish to have their request information addressed can contact us, and can also contact the owner they dealt with directly. To make a request, use the contact point in Section 9.
We use reputable providers with industry-standard safeguards, and access controls that limit each owner to their own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
