Marketing Communications Policy

This policy explains the marketing emails you can choose to receive from [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], operating Jersey Shore Summer Rental (“JSSR,” “we,” “us”), what they contain, and how to stop them at any time.

1. What you're agreeing to

If you check the marketing box when sending a booking request, you agree to receive occasional emails from JSSR about Jersey Shore rentals — things like last-minute openings, off-season and shoulder-season rates, and new listings in towns you may be interested in. That’s the full scope. Checking the box is optional and is never required to send a booking request, book a stay, or use any part of the Service.

2. Who sends the emails

Only JSSR sends these emails. Property owners do not get access to this list, and we do not share, sell, or rent your email address to owners or to any third party for their own marketing. The only third party involved is our email delivery provider, which sends email on our behalf and processes your address solely for that purpose.

3. What we record

When you opt in, we record that you checked the box, the date and time, where the consent was given (your booking request), and the version of this policy in effect at the time. We keep this record so we can show your consent was properly obtained, and we keep a record of any unsubscribe so we can honor it.

4. How to unsubscribe

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works with one click, no login required. You can also email [CONTACT EMAIL] and ask to be removed. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails only — you will still receive transactional emails about any booking request or booking you have in progress, such as confirmations and rental-agreement notices.

5. What this doesn't cover

This policy covers JSSR marketing emails only. Messages that owners send you directly about your booking are between you and the owner. Transactional emails from JSSR (booking-request confirmations, agreement signing, payment receipts) are part of operating the Service and are sent regardless of your marketing choice.

6. Changes

If we change this policy, the version and effective date above will change. A material expansion of what we send would apply only to consents collected under the new version — we won’t repurpose an earlier, narrower consent.
